Trump to SAG - "You Can't Fire Me, I Quit."

 


Don Trump, notorious golf cheat, serial sex offender, all-round degenerate and former president of the United States, fired off a blistering letter after the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists moved to expel him from the union.

Trump, classless to the very end, replied with the predictable, 'up yours, what have you ever done for me' letter. In response to Trump's "Who cares?" SAG responded with "thank you."

I wonder if his dues were current.


"The Office of Donald J. Trump" - is that what he's calling the Pro Shop now?

    Judging by the line under his, um, signature, he still regards himself as PRESIDENT. Is this allowed? I know Americans have a tendency to award geriatric posers such as Kissinger the sobriquet Secretary of State, and vast numbers of old put out to pasture servicemen address themselves still as Admiral or General or Brigadier when waffling on cable news. So perhaps this Trump affectation is merely another inscrutable Americanism.

Who Asks "Why?"

Every time there's a conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians, all we hear is 'why?'  Why, as in, whose fault is this? It's easier to affix blame if you can truncate the event. Pick a convenient start date, something recent. In this case we'll make it either the Israeli eviction of Arabs from Jerusalem or the scuffle that took place outside the mosque in response. If those don't work, let's go for Hamas launching unguided rockets into Israel. That's even better because it tags Hamas with the blame.
