Should "Marge" Be the New Term for Lunatic?

 


If anyone deserves mockery and ridicule, it's the Representative for Georgia's 14th District, Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Marge is, in a word, a "nutjob." She has promoted just about every conspiracy theory on America's Top Ten list. I'll bet you don't know half the crazy she's into. Check it out at the link above.

Because of her extreme views including calls to violence, the House meets today to vote on whether Marge should be stripped of her committee assignments, both of them. She was assigned to the budget committee and the labor and education committee. Removing her requires only a majority vote so this will be a test of how many Republicans condone the lunacy in their ranks.

    Marge should be the new 'Karen".

    I just read an article on her in the Hill where she refers to herself as a regular American !

      She did get elected to Congress beating out a gun-toting, Jaysus-loving surgeon with impeccable Republican credentials in the primary. Maybe there is something to what she says with the qualifier of "regular American Republican."

    She lives in a world where on one hand it will end on the plains of Armageddon and on the other the issue are the Jews themselves!
    I have to wonder just what a radical American is to these folks?

The Gun We Point at Our Own Heads

  If you're sitting at a table and there's a loaded pistol in front of you, do you pick it up and point it at your own head?  Probably not, unless something has gone terribly, terribly wrong. Who Asks "Why?"

Every time there's a conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians, all we hear is 'why?'  Why, as in, whose fault is this? It's easier to affix blame if you can truncate the event. Pick a convenient start date, something recent. In this case we'll make it either the Israeli eviction of Arabs from Jerusalem or the scuffle that took place outside the mosque in response. If those don't work, let's go for Hamas launching unguided rockets into Israel. That's even better because it tags Hamas with the blame. The nice thing about this approach is you can just keep using it. It goes on and on, just as it has for the past half-century since the '67 war.
