Explain This, Vlad. Russia's Denials Don't Hold Up.

German intelligence has intercepted Russian radio messages about first interrogating and then shooting Ukrainian civilians.

The Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND), Germany’s foreign intelligence service, has acquired gruesome new insights into the atrocities committed by Russian military forces. DER SPIEGEL has learned that the BND has new satellite images and has intercepted incriminating radio traffic from Russian military personnel in the region north of Kyiv, where Bucha is located. Some of the intercepted radio traffic might be linked to dead bodies that have been photographed in Bucha.

The intercepted comments now appear to refute Russia’s denials. DER SPIEGEL has learned that the BND briefed parliamentarians on Wednesday about its findings. Some of the intercepted traffic apparently matches the locations of bodies found along the main road through town. In one of them, a soldier apparently told another that they had just shot a person on a bicycle. That corresponds to the photo of the dead body lying next to a bicycle that has been shared around the world. In another intercepted conversation, a man apparently said: First you interrogate soldiers, then you shoot them.

The UN General Assembly today voted to oust Russia from the UN Human Rights Council.

Vlad Putin, president of Russia and Butcher of Bucha.

  1. Oust the Russians from the UN, Human rights council!!
Remember the illegal put up invasion of Iraq?
    Remember Fallujah?
Only non Americans and non Brits etc commit atrocities!!!
Ukrainian soldiers have been recorded murdering Russians, but reported as 'possible whilst Russian atrocities are from the moment of record, undeniable!
The USA and UK should be along side of Russia at war crimes tribunal.
It was the expansion of NATO that created the madman of Russia, Putin .

I am 100% behind the Ukraine who will , I hope, come out of this situation better off than it's circumspect past .

  2. Yep
Even the freedum convoy jammed the backchanels/911 lines with falseflag bull.
This seems so Orsten Wells War of the Worlds.
Where are the pictures of the thousands of Russians they claim to have killed?
Why did they leave them on the street for the 3 days between Russian retreat and the vidios?
The International War Crimes Tribunal already convicted George Bush and Dick Cheney of war crime back in 2012. Real effective that move.
Lots of scores are being settled under the cover of war. Every anti government activist is now a fair game as a Russian collaborator. Business will be consolidated , competition eliminated.
Any of the oligarch money/boats/land going back to the Russian people it was stolen from?
There is some guy with a ham radio laughing his ass off right now .

Sun Tzu best expressed the martial role of deception in saying
"All warfare is based on deception." Deceptions can involve false maneuvers, feigned attacks, misleading orders of battle, and creation of deceiving indications of strength or weakness in attempts to influence an enemy's actions. Deception can strengthen an offensive or weaken an enemy's defense.

Strategic deceptions are practiced on grand scales and are aimed at the enemy's national leadership.

  3. I have no doubt of the atrocities , I question the hypocrisy.
We should think back to the first days of the Iraq invasion or even go back to Vietnam.

    1. Thanks. I am a big fan of gallows humour.
The provocations of WW1 seem quaint and illusorily compared to the current game of Chicken-Kiev.

  5. What struck me is how the west becomes so outraged at Putin's brutality yet when Israel hammers Gaza or cleanses the West Bank of Palestinians we stand mute. There's a neighbourhood called Dahiyeh in Beirut. During Israel's invasion of Lebanon its jets destroyed essential infrastructure - water, power and sewage treatment - before trashing apartment buildings. Israel is, of course, our supposed ally and so Canada and the US treat its excesses by see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.

    1. I agree. War crimes have been committed (by countries that do not recognize the ICC) in Palestine, Iraq and Yemen, to cite a few of the obvious, recent examples.
Alas, there is a hierarchy of victimhood.
The more 'they look like us', the higher priority they get.

Warning: providing perspective like this will get you branded as a Putin-stooge.

"I've learned to hate the Russians
      All through my whole life
      If another war comes
      It's them we must fight
To hate them and fear them
      To run and to hide
      And accept it all bravely
      With God on my side"

You can't fight Israels aggression without confronting antisemitism.
Some similarities to the USA when god is used to justify certain political decisions .

As for the latest missile attack with a photo of such displaying " for the children" seems more like a Ukrainian cock up to me rather than Russian deliberate attack.
As much as i dislike the Russian armed forces i cannot imagine such a callous display of force.
