US Freedom Convoy Gets a Flat

 


2,000 trucks were expected to make the first leg of the Los Angeles to Washington Freedom Convoy.

By the time these protest truckers reach Las Vegas they had amassed a grand total of five trucks and just gave up.

Plenty of hurt feelings but organizers are hoping two other convoys, from real redneck states, will make Washington quake.

    With mask and inoculation requirements slowly going away , other than red neck organisations, the wind is out of the sails of the truckers.
    But , never say never.
    Some idiot from Tennessee or where ever will roll up at the Capitol with a surplus army truck with all it's accessories!

The Cognoscenti Syndrome

  There is a group of people I think of as the Cognoscenti, people who are well educated, very informed and of rapidly diminishing relevance. Their ranks include writers such as Chris Hedges and Glen Greenwald. These are people who have honed an almost Puritanical value system, readily finding fault in any direction. They are scathing in their attacks on Republicans and Democrats alike to the point where they become nihilists. They don't endorse. They prescribe. This is where they fail.
