"Legitimate Political Discourse" - GOP
In a brazen affront to decency, the Republican Party has declared the January 6th attack on the Capitol as "legitimate political discourse."
The Republican National Committee’s voice vote to censure Representatives Liz Cheney of Wyoming and Adam Kinzinger of Illinois at its winter meeting in Salt Lake City culminated more than a year of vacillation, which started with party leaders condemning the Capitol attack and Mr. Trump’s conduct, then shifted to downplaying and denying it.On Friday, the party went further in a resolution slamming Ms. Cheney and Mr. Kinzinger for taking part in the House investigation of the assault, saying they were participating in “persecution of ordinary citizens engaged in legitimate political discourse.”
Meanwhile, the Washington Post editorial board summed up today's Republican Party: "By asserting, as their censure resolution did Friday, that truth is fiction and patriots are turncoats, they have exposed the dark, festering core of what their party is becoming: an unruly revolt against fact and reason."
The Vandals sacked Rome but the attack on the Capitol was an inside job.
The fox , no pun intended, really is ruling the hen house be it north or south of the border.

What these clowns are doing in their ignorance the exposing the weakness of federal and provincial political hubs.
Elected Governments do not rule by the mandate of democratic opinion , they rule by the forces of outside influence.
